Teacher Education

There are a number of options available to teachers to assist in gaining confidence to conduct basic gymnastic activities at their school
 
LaunchPad: Ignite!
Ignite! is a professional development workshop specifically designed by Gymnastics Australia to help give teachers an understanding of fundamental movement and its relationship to physical activity and brain development.
 
This 4 hour workshop (1hr online + 3hrs face to face) is usually conducted at the State Gymnastics Centre or at your school and is structured to suit the attendees.
 
The workshop covers movement and how vital it is to brain development, linking movement into the curriculum, dominant movement patterns and their relevance to all sport and physical activity.
 
The practical component conducted at the State Gymnastics Centre costs $60 per person or;
The practical component run at your school for your teachers costs $250 per group. 
 
The online component costs $40 per person (paid online).
