Little, Our gymnastics giant

It has been an incredible start to the 2017 season for Emily Little.  Her hard work and determination has been recognised on the world stage with this week’s release of the FIG Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Individual Apparatus World Rankings.  Emily has topped the rankings in Vault, Beam and Floor.

These world rankings arise on the back of Emily’s latest medal haul, taking home Silver on Floor (0.033 behind Romanian champ Catalina Ponor), Silver on Vault (behind legendary Oksana Chusovitina) and Bronze on Beam at the Baku World Cup.  And to top it off Emily was awarded the AGF Trophy for the best execution scores over two apparatus.

There is no rest in sight for Emily, having already headed straight from Baku to Doha for their World Cup, 22-25 March.  Emily has qualified for the finals in Vault, Beam and Floor, setting herself up nicely for some more podium appearances this weekend.
