High Flyers setting the bar high

High Flyers Trampoline and Gymnastics Academy are reaching new heights after being featured as one of the best practice clubs who are implementing safe social media policy and procedures in a presentation held at the Department of Sport and Recreation.

The presentation featured a guest speaker from the Office of the eSafety Commissioner who informed attendees of the different elements involving Social Media Policies and Procedures. The topics discussed were; photo restrictions on website and social media pages, security settings with smartphone apps, cyber bullying and how to monitor it within your association and the differences between policy and procedure.

The end of the presentation showcased a video of best practice WA sport associations and local clubs, where High Flyers were the most featured club with over 3 showings!  Gymnastics WA would like to acknowledge the hard work and great workforce that encompass High Flyers, the time and effort in implementing sound policies and procedures have no doubt contributed to the success in membership growth and the opening of a second venue.

If your club does not have a social media policy then please contact your Club Development Coordinator for assistance and more information.
