Intermediate WAG & MAG Coaching Position at Armadale Gymnastics Club


Armadale Gymnastics Club is a customer focused community club, providing opportunities for all people to grow in body, mind and spirit.

The Club currently has a vacancy for an Intermediate WAG & MAG Coach position and looking for someone to join our family friendly, busy and fast-growing Gymnastics Club. These positions will commence Term 2, 29th April 2019. We are looking for experienced coaches to mentor our up and coming coaches, have an eye for detail and passion for teaching Gymnasts new skills in all levels.

INTERMEDIATE WAG COACH

  • Working towards Advance accreditation in 2019.
  • Current Technical Membership with Gymnastics Australia
  • Demonstrate experience as a WAG Gymnastics Coach
  • Demonstrator excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Supervisors certificate preferred
  • Previous experience coaching club levels 5 and above.
  • Available for a minimum of 12 hours a week but possibly more hours available.
  • Must have Working with Children Check
  • Desirable First Aid

 

INTERMEDIATE MAG COACH

Casual MAG and WAG Gymnastics Coach at PCYC

Position Description:

We are recruiting now for a fun and energetic Gymnastic coach to work on a casual basis and deliver high quality coaching in our Woman's and/or Men's Artistic Gymnastics program (MAG and WAG) at a variety of skill levels. The successful applicants will be required to work Monday through to Saturday.

The centres we are currently recruiting for are:

  • Rockingham
  • Kensington
  • Kalgoorlie


Duties will include :

  • Deliver lessons according to plans and programs.
  • Develop activity/training programs and associated documentation
  • Prepare assessment/evaluation criteria at an individual and program level
  • Liaise with the Head Coach to provide feedback and concerns
  • Ensure cleanliness of activity area and ensure equipment is maintained and used in a safe
  • manner.
  • Monitor delivery of program by assistant coaches
  • File Accident / Incident reports as needed

 Selection Criteria

  • Hold or working towards a Beginner or Intermediate Gymnastics WA coaching qualification
  • Experience in instructing/coaching activity classes.
  • Working with Children Check
  • Police Clearance
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Experience with Inclusion

Gymnastics Coach (Tumbling & Recreational Programs) Position at Horizon Gymnastics Club


About the business 
Situated in the magnificent South West region of WA, Horizon Gymnastics Club is fast establishing itself as one of the largest Gymnastics club in regional WA. Due to rapid growth over the last 12 months, we are now seeking an experienced gymnastics coach to help further strengthen and lead our recreational programs with a strong emphasis on Tumbling.

About the role

Reporting to the Club Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of daily recreational gymnastics sessions as per our existing programs.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
• Currently hold an intermediate accreditation or higher
• Currently hold, or working toward, Advanced Tumbling & Spring, Module 1
• Ability to take ownership of lesson planning and programming
• Creativity and individuality in programming and delivery
• Excellent management, development and training skills
• Able to work effectively with children and adapt/modify programming to suit
individual needs and abilities
• Minimum 3 years coaching experience preferred

- Reception and administration experience

Desirables include:
- Gymnastics knowledge
- Accounts/Payroll experience
- Gymnastics administration experience

Hours are 3:30pm - 6:30pm mid week and 9:15am - 1:15pm Saturday.
